A thick layer of ferns covers the forest floor surrounding the massive redwoods found along Prairie Creek. Nearly as impressive as the redwoods, the ferns in this area reach over 4 feet tall. Taken in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park near Trinidad, CA.
