Last Light on Mt. Shuksan

The last rays of sunset illuminating the peak of Mt. Shuksan in the North Cascades. Mt. Shuksan rises to 9,131 ft with a prominence of 4,411 ft. It's English name is derived from it's name in the Nooksack language, Shéqsan, meaning 'high foot', or Ch’ésqen meaning 'golden eagle.'
